i have windows media player 11.. I go to options then share my media.. i get to the screen where it says to select your xbox 360... but mine isnt there to select? how do i fix it?? my 360 is hooked up to a cable router with an ethernet cable
Answer:
Turn on your PC and the xbox 360. Run the internet setup for the xbox to let it detected by the pc. If everything is fine WMP should be able to see it. Type "services.msc" in the Start, Run box. Scroll down the list of services and make sure that Window Media Player Network Sharing is set on Automatic. Reboot your pc just to be sure and run WMP again and it should be able to detect the xbox 360.
You need to have a media center pc. This will give you all the answers you need...
