Question:
ok, I got a zire 72 for Christmas and my dad bought one for himself too. He also bought a keyboard for us to share, but everytime I go to the keyboard option it says fatal exception and I have to reset it. I tried deleting the keyboard program and beaming it back from my dad's and when I beamed it back the entire screen looked like one big glitch, but only for a second then went back to normal. No matter how many times I try to get the program on there working it does the same thing... The first thing I thought was that it wasn't compatible with the zire 72, but it works fine on my dad's 72. This is driving me insane. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Best answer goes to whatever answer works.
Answer:
There are two files within Palm OS that works like the registry within Windows; they are corrupted on your Zire 72, a normal reset won't fix them, a hard reset will erase them along with everything else, and restore them to a factory setting. After that the keyboard driver should now be okay to run.
