This problem occurred after I set up a home network in order to share an internet connection between two computers, The problem only occurs on the client computer, not on the host computer. The client computer is using Windows 98 SE and Internet Explorer 6. The host computer is using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7.
Answer:
Sounds to me like spyware. I would recommend disconnecting the client pc that is having problems from the internet and install a virus remover/anti-virus program.
