How to up load pictures from a camera to a computer?
Question:
Answer:
You will need to install the Kodak EASYSHARE software
and then use the usb cable that came with the camera to connect the camera to the computer. THe camera has an easyshare button to tag photos for sharing. THe software
will help you upload the photos in albums and share them on the kodak site if needed. It will allow you to email a url to the kodak easyshare site pointing to your album to anyone you want to email the link to, ie if you upload your photos to the website.
Open the Kodak Software on your computer, and THEN, plug in your camera to the USB port. The software should pop up in a window and ask you which pictures you want to transfer.
Just remember, the software needs to be opened before you plug your camera into the USB.
connect the usb cable from the camera to the computer and put the camera on the play button (where u see the pics on the cam) and it should work
plug it in, go to "my computer" and the click the camera
oh and if something pops up asking you what action you want to take, close it, or you wont see the pictures
YOU PLUG THE USB DRIVE to the computer then it will say download file to your computer and click it
Review the .pdf for that model camera below and especially see page 11.

at the bottom right of your computer (to the left of the time, etc.) there should be an icon that says device found or some kodak sign. right click or double click on that & see what happens
You can hook it up to your computer and it will normaly pop up asking what u want to do. It will walk you through it if not read the directions again to mkae sure hope this helps!.
you have to load the software onto the computer, then when your done take the cd out, and plug the camera in. open the kodak program and the book should tell you how to upload if im wrong. usually you go to one of the menus and click upload pictures and they will go onto your conputer.
did you get a cd software and usb cable with your camera? if so, did you install and set up that cd/software?
once it's all set up then
- turn on your camera - plug in the usb cable to camera and to usb port on your computer - or set it on the "camera dock" (if you have one for it) and it should automatically detect that the camera is connected and should upload the pics to your pc
make sure you know which folder (directory) you have the pics sent to
example: C:/my documents/my pictures
if you need more help you can go to the kodak site listed below and chat with a kodak technician to help walk you through the steps
http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/p...
also, if this isn't the proper camera - search through the kodak site and go to the proper section to get the information
good luck
Does this camera have the loading dock? If so when you place camera onto dock do you see your pictures? If not I believe that your problem is that you need to make sure that the camera is set for auto memory(this is memory card) internal is with out the card. how to check setting turn on camera then select menu scroll down to image storage press OK choose auto. If the camera was set to internal you may have lost pictures. If you see your pics while on the dock. open easy share program. plug USB cord into computer and the camera(remember PC 1st) NOW turn n camera. A window should open asking if you want to transfer select transfer all and clear your pics. you should see a bar open and pics transfer
