Shared wireless router?

me and my mate share a wireless router he has a laptop and i have a desktop i think to make me worried hes saying that he can view my screen and that he can go through my files

can he plaese help? and if he can can i and how

Answer:
I would make sure he didn't get on your computer and enable Remote Desktop, if using windows and Xp. Right click on the "My Computer" and click on the Tab for "Remote" uncheck Remote Desktop, and Remote Assistance.

I did that to my roommate one time, I had fun messing with him.

No he cant, unless he is looking at it.

he cant view your screen unless he has installed some 3rd party software, he may be able to look at your files, but thats only if you have shared them and created a workgroup with your friends computer.

ask him to show you, if your unsure?

make sure your not logging all your conversations, so he cant look back at your old logs.
