Do you think it's annoying if someone stands over your shoulder and stares at your computer screen ?

Question:
My husband does this and I find it very annoying. He then accuses me of "hiding something " when I close a window. He doesn't want to use the computer, he doesn't want me to look up something, he doesn't want to even speak with me. He's just checking up on me and I HATE it! I have nothing to hide. Please share your thoughts on this as he will probably be reading your answers over my shoulder.

Answer:
Hehehe u got the nosy one huh? i think he doesn't trust you. i would ask what's he's problem.coz it's damn annoying...get off her pc HUSBAND!
Yeah I hate it too. Its not like we are hiding anything, its just that every human being likes to have some privacy every once in a while *shrugs*
god I hate it when people do that
Yea, especially if I'm looking at porn ;-)
Very annoying.
Tell him you just need privacy or your personal space doesn't mean you're hiding anything.
Yeah exactly. It's our business that we have on the computer and no one else should care.

Why don't you try checking up on him when he uses the computer?
See how he feels !
yes i definately think its annoying when people do that! especially when im trying to type an email and one of my friends or a family member is trying to look at the screen..it bothers me a lot and i have been accused of "trying to hide things" too.
Hey i know its very weird if someone does it ... but he's ur hubby afterall!! Let him do it...and asu say when u dont have anything to hide then whts the issue! Because you're protesting it he's more curious abt wht u do on the comp n keeps a chek on you...once u let him do it...and he is assured that ur not doin nething wrong then he will stop it!
I think it very annoying. What would you hide anyway? I close windows all the time, theres absolutely nothing wrong about doing that. You should tell your husband that you're not hiding anything and ask him to stop doing that.
He is very jealous, because many man cheat on their wives on the computer! well, video chatting and many other programs. Just when next time he is on the computer do the same, and if he tells something, ask him to not do the same to you:)
I think it is totally annoying when somebody reads over my shoulder. I'm not hiding anything. I just want some privacy. My parents do it all the time. Its so annoying! Maybe u shood start doing it 2 him
it is really annoying when someone is behind but he is u r hubby so tell him to sit beside u give him a chair and involve him, and convince him that it is really annoying when he stands behind dont make such small things big issues ,and pls dont pay more concentration for such small silly things
heck yes! my sister does that all the time. She needs to mind her own buisness. I tell her that it's annoying and i dont do it to you and she says the same thing!

Then she goes in my closet! She says i dont want her in there cuz i'm hiding drugs in there.

err... :{
OMG my husband does the EXACT SAME THING. Maybe they are the same person leading a double life!

For real, though, he is always like, "What are you going on the computer for?" "Do you talk to people on there?" and if I am on here doing my homework and typing he thinks I am doing something. So then he walks behind me and stands behind me looking at what I am doing. It freaking annoys the sh*t out of me bigtime.

Also he is always asking my password for everything. Like yahoo email, my school password, even my financial aid password. I am like god you need a life!!!!! What do you need them for! and he goes "Why do you hide things from me??" UGHHHHHHHHHHHH. He is nuts.

Anyways, I am glad to know I am not alone.
