Question:
Sometimes when i try to shut down my computer this happenes. It will also happen while im on the computer doing things or while it's just left on, automatically and without warning. It doesnt seem to shut down programs before it happens either, it just does. All the programs are off, screen goes into power save mode, yet the modem just stays on and i have to turn it off and on manually via modem. On occasion it'll also happen when i first turn it on and it starts to load up the Windows XP. I do share my computer with others, very possible one of us got a virus on it from somewhere but i've checked with scans (Windows defender) and i get nothing. This is really starting to annoy and interfear with work i like to do on the computer, if anyone can help please! :(

go to start>setting > control panel and choose power option check Power Schemes u can cancel the standby option .. or check the other options
