Log on to a personal computer?

Question:
Hi, I have a question, I have my own PC at home, I don't share it with any one, so it bothers me to be asked each time I log on to the computer to click the administrator icon. I would like to cancel that option and use the PC as non-shared. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that done by
1-choosing control panel
2-choosing users account
3-choosing "change the way users log on or off" then de-select "use the welcome screen"
if this is not the right way, kindly describe it for me, I have windows XP professional. It is more convenient for me if the PC is organized as not shared cause I can turn it on and leave it and come back to use the programs directly and not have to wait to press any icon.

Answer:
I think UR correct. But what happens when U do it?

Regards.
try this

rightclick -> display properties -> screen saver

deselect the Onresume, password protect

then click on power button -> Advanced -> Deselect Prompt for password when computer resumes from stand by
Close, but no cigar. It's done in a rather obscure way.

1. Ensure there is no password on your computer.
2. Click Start and choose Run.
3. Type the following:
control userpasswords2
4. Uncheck "Users Must Enter a Name and Password to use this computer".
5. Ensure Administrator is the user name, and the password fields are blank.
6. Restart.
