Me and a friend is sharing the same laptop?

When I put a wallpaper on mines it show up on his but we want different wall paper. So how can I stop my screen savers and wallpapers from appearing on his screen?

You need to create two separate logins on the machine. That way you can have separate environments.

question is are you Both on the same Login or under Different User's. If your under Different User name's this shouldn't happen but if your both using the same user name you wont be able to stop sharing the same Background's,Screen saver's Etc.

To solve your problem Just create two different login sessions, so that what are the changes and updations that each of the one want to make you can make it and it is easy to create to different login session if u use windows xp.

Just go to control pannel and select the users option from there and follow the necessary options provided in the wizard. ok.
