Answer:
I have a Inspiron E1505 and I use it everyday for everything. Searching the web, Instant messaging, and work. I use it alot for work. I also use it for school. This is not the first laptop I have had but I can tell you it is hands down my favorite! Get it and enjoy! I bought mine straight from Dell and I paid around the price you are paying!!
Also I own many gaming systems. I love video games!! When it's said it is not a gaming computer..I have absolutly no problems playing games on my computer.
I got a better system at best buy for cheaper.
But it was an open box.
This would be a fine computer for every day type of use. You will need to invest in a word processing type program, antivirus, firewall (if broadband) but other than that it is fine. Mind you this is definitely NOT a gaming computer by any means. I would check to see if it has an available upgrade slot for video and make sure they tell you PCI/AGP or PCI Express. Alot of budget computers have an open PCI slot which really isn't what you want...there are still a few good video cards out there for PCI but there is NO comparison in PCI vs. AGP or PCI Express (The current King).
