How can i be selective with choosing renters but not be discriminating?

Question:
I just bought a five bedroom house with 4 seperate entrances. It has shared space, ie bathroom and kitchen and outdoor patios. I want to screen for renters that are interested in creating postive change in the world and the concepts of "Choice Theory", which basically is a book about not using external control in your relationships. Can I advertise this way and screen people for these things and not get into trouble for being considered discriminatory under laws that protect tenants?

Answer:
Here are the links to the laws that you need to read up on

HUD Fair Housing Laws and Presidential Executive Orders
http://www.hud.gov/offices/fheo/fhlaws/...
Fair Housing brochure: http://www.hud.gov/offices/fheo/fhlaws/f...

Just for fun you might want to read this article
An article on Freedom of Speech from Stanford University: http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/freedo...

Best of luck to you
