"no nvram" on start up.?
Question:
Answer:
Is the time right on your PC? If not, it is a good indication you need a new bios battery. The FDC failure is a floppy drive trying to boot. I would disable it in the BIOS. Internet connection sharing can only be used when the computer you are connecting to the internet with is up and connected. Sounds like a network configuration problem.
The NVRAM problem could be a dead battery on your motherboard - that battery provides power for your non-volatile read-only-memory (NVRAM) that contains system settings such as which disk to boot from first, what the time is on your machine, etc. Typically a CR2032 3V lithium button-cell.
No idea about the windows firewall though.
try unplugging your floppy drive or disable it in bios. You might have a bad floppy controller. If you need a floppy drive go to a usb device.
