Do you have an issue with the download function on Yahoo! Photos too?

Question:

With the new version of Yahoo!photos, I got the impression that people invited to look at my albums could now also be able to download them since I read in the help files: "When you share your photos with friends or family (either by email invitation or by making your photos “Public”), your guests can view and download them." When non Yahoo! members try this they are rerouted to the logon screen though.

After a very extended mail exchange I finally got this answer: "Although this feature is not currently available with Yahoo! Photos, we're always looking for ways to improve our service, and we consider user feedback a valuable resource. In order for a friend to download the original high res version of a photo they do in fact need to be a yahoo user. We appreciate your feedback. We've forwarded your comments to our development team for review."

Up till now nothing has changed and I was wondering if other people would welcome this feature too.

Answer:
Thats 1 of the reasons Yahoo is closing Photos. It was actually, never an open source sharing community where you could share photos with others if you wanted to. When you switch to a sharing site like photobucket or Picasa Web Albums you'll have that ability and more.
