How can I take "Snapshot" pictures of my computer screen? (I have Windows XP Pro)?

Question:
I'm trying to take snapshot pics of my screen, but I don't know if Windows has that feature. I know that Apple Computers has it, but I don't know about Windows. If you have any info, please share. Thanks.

Answer:
Hit the print screen button at the top of your keyboard next to the scroll lock button. Open Word or notepad and press control V to paste the image.

You can also download Snag-it software for a 30 day free trial and you can select a portion of the screen to copy. Click www.snagit.com and click the Try button.
generally, hit the Print Scrn button. If you just want to take a screenshot of what window you're in, hold down your ALT key while pressing Print Scrn.

Hope that helps.
hold down ALT then hit print screen. then you just paste into what ever program you wanted, ie email, word doc, etc.
Press Print Screen (prt scr) button on top of the "insert" button.
and open Microsoft Paint (Start > all programs > accessories > paint) and paste (CTRL+V) and save the jpg or any format.

You can also take a snapshot from a single (active) window by holding "alt gr" button and pressing the "print screen (prt scr)" button then Windows takes a snapshot from the active window.
