Should i get a video ipod? any complaints or anything about the ipod video some of u might like or dislike??
Question:
one of my questons is that can you actually see anything on the screen when watching a video?
also, is it really that good quality ( like when ur watching a video...)?
and any other things you guys (and gurls) might know about the ipod video, and might like to share it...
thank you sooo much!!
Answer:
Overall: Yes, it is worth it. I have a 30GB one.
Pros: The clarity is amazing, and the sound is wonderful. It seems like the screen is to small but it isn't. If you buy the connection wires and hook it up to your TV the videos and songs are actually clear, I thought they would be incredibly blurry. The 60GB iPod holds 15000 songs, and the 30GB holds 7500 songs.
Cons: The battery life claims to be 14 hours long, but my only lasts 4 hours. And when you watch movies it sucks up the battery like a hungry tiger.
Solutions to the Cons: What I do if I am traveling is I buy a Cellboost battery pack from CompUSA for $7.99 each. They charge your iPod while you listen to it, (it supplies 8 hours of extra battery life). I highly recommend it.
If you are gonna watch movies or music videos on it, I suggest you should use the Cellboost battery pack.
I have the 60GB video iPod in white and I love it. I have had it since about February. The video quality is excellent on it... just like watching tv. The sound quality is amazing, just make sure you turn the soundcheck on. Thinking back I probably should have gotten the 30GB iPod because there is SO much memory, but I still am very happy with it. I also like that I can use it to transport documents (as long as you "enable disk use" on it). There are also a lot of other great uses for it... carrying pictures, address book, calendars, games and a security lock that can only be unlocked by your 4 # password or your home computer. I highly recommend it.
Hi! I'm a teenager that really wanted an ipod, my parents purchased me the video ipod and I LUV it sooo much it has everything i need. It holds a lot of songs which is great cuz as a teenager the more the better (lol). Also the screen is just the right size to enjoy anything from tv shows to music videos. It is great and i don't have one complaint about it!
I just recently upgraded from the basic black and white Ipod to the "5th Generation" Ipod. I have to say, I was skeptical but I love it. I was afraid with all the colors and extras the battery life would be low. However, I was surprised at how much charge it still carries. While the videos are small, they do have a very clear picture. You can also load your photos on to this one and hook it up to your television.Granted I've only had this one for about 2 months, but I think it is worth it. If nothing else, it holds a lot more songs than my old one did.
I have the 60 gb Ipod video. It is pretty sweet. You will probably never get 60 gb of music and videos but the battery life is better and screen is a little bigger.
They are really nice for the airplane trips across the country. Unless you are going to put on a million DVD's on it, the 30 GB is the way to go. Because it's thinner and more things are made for the 30 then for the 60 GB. It's also really nice to use as a portable hard drive.
no they suck weiner. Their battery life is about two seconds when watching videos and i can barely watch a whole movie without it dying down. They also are expensive but they are good for playing music. If u like watching movies on a screen that u have to pull a electron microscope out to see then go for it. PSP=awesome.
