What do you think about the chat friends?

Question:

I chat since many years at a chat room with people from all over the world and I've many net friends. We joke, share stuff and we have fun chatting but I am not sure the way they accept that communication. As for me, I accept them the same way I do with my real friends because I know somewhere behind the computer there are real people, I like them a lot. I know we might not have the chance to meet but I am glad I can share some concerns with them and to have their support even in the form of moving letters on a screen. What is your opinion for the chatting?

i think its a good way... i love chatting online too.. coz u can tell them everything...

Friends you meet in chat and stay friends with are great! I've got two chat friends who I met in chat 8 years ago and we keep in touch on a regular basis. I think the important thing to remember is to be honest... because you never know if you might meet up one day! :)

Another great thing about chat friends is you'll find it easier to open up to someone about personal issues more readily than your face to face friends.

And you have the option of switching off your computer when you need to.. hahaha as sometimes you need personal space!

I agree with Shaliney. I think it's great to chat with strangers online. You can tell very quickly if it's a freak or a sincere person you are chatting with and either continue or cut it off anytime.

Chatting online is great, as long as you know who you're talking with. If they seem to abuse you or be suspicious, ignore them. They could have a very bad influence on you.
