i have a wide screen hp pavillion notebook dv6000 and a built-in webcam that's 1.3 megapixels. i was wondering how you can talk to someone else using the video chat without downloading a program [such as Skype]. please help!

Messenger would seem to be the obvious answer.
Either Windows, MS or windows Live
I'm not sure if anything works with the Vista "downgrade".
Your best bet is to install XP Pro and save yourself the headaches.
