Which has better video card too?
Answer:
I think the 8600M GT is a better card, the nvdia 8 series will support Dx10, and games WILL be using that in the future. However, I don't know much about the 6 series nvida. As far as university goes, I've been getting along just fine with a basic laptop. All you NEED is something that can do word processing and surf the net. personally I'd go with the dell.
