I an new to yahoo360.. we have sbcglobal dsl.. Can my sbcgobal/messenger join with yahoo360?

last night my brother invited me to join yahoo360.. I did and created my page (display pic,blog,1 friend (my brother), my pictures to share.. My messenger screen changed to.. At the bottom there was a tab that took me back to yahoo300.. Now tonight.. I logged into sbcglobal, my friend images are gone, my avitar was off. the old SBC screens were back.. I had to use my favorites to get to yahoo360 and was already logged in.. My brother was shown as off line, but on my yahoo messenger he was shown as on line, and he was on line..Are my sbcglobal and yahoo360 not working together correctly?

Hi Cathy,
I'm sure you shouldn't have too much trouble once you "figure out" 360 a bit. It's odd at first, AND it has a few quirks and bugs that don't make things any easier.

I don't thnk 360 is based on email addresses as such, but on Yahoo ID.

So if u go to http://360.yahoo.com then login there with your Yahoo id and password you will be there, as that Id (though you can change the way it displays you ... either to clearly SHOW your real Id everywhere, or if you prefer you can show NO real details).

As far as others being online or not, I think maybe blame the program(s) for lying, rather than blaming yourself.

Once you change your settings in 360 to use "simple url" (which I recommend) then you - or anyone - can access YOUR 360 page directly, e.g. http://360.yahoo.com/eagle_kiwi... (just type that with YOUR Yahoo Id instead of mine)

In summary, I don't think it's POSSIBLE for "SBC and 360" NOT to work together... they are just completely different entities. :-)

what's the email address that you used in creating the yahoo360 page? was it the sbcglobal email add or the regular yahoo email?
