These laptop specifications are good for gaming and entertainment T2300(1,66)dual core,GeForce 7400 256MB(128MB Shared)

1024 ram
15,4 LCD screen
chipset intel 945PM fsb 667 mhz
DVD-RW+- Dual Layer
Wi-Fi 54 Mbps
80GB hard disk
Windows XP MCE 2005

It depends on the price you are paying. If you can spend more, I would look further. I just bought my wife a Sony VAIO laptop specs somewhat similar to this for $799.00 (weekly special) from CompUSA. Look around, you can get good deals if you are patient.

I dont play much on PC's. But these specifications are good enough for most of the games.

What is exactly your question? but I see that your laptop characteristics are way too cool.. you have 1GB of RAM that make your laptop fast.. It's wonderful!!!
It's so good for games and entertainment..
7400 isnt exactly high end.
It will play all the latest games at low-medium settings, but soon enough you'll be stuck with low.
Everything else is fine.

Also shared memory sucks for gaming, really. And see if u can get a faster processor.
1.66 is that processor speed that will do but you wont get the best gaming experience
the graphics card is good enough could be better
i like 17 in. screens but thats a personal preference
everything seems ok but i would try for at least a 2ghz processor
