Cant get page displayed even gateway?

Question:
all wireless connection is OK, 2 laptop with 1 desktop. Fire sharing within the wireless environment is also fine. However, the desktop could not display any websites even though the ping gateway is all OK.
Desktop on direct plug in cable is OK too but still webpages do not display on screen.

How to address this issue?

Answer:
check your dns settings.

maybe dhcp is not working on wireless router?
CHECK YOUR SECURITY AND SEE IF THEY R SET TO HIGH AND THAT MIGHT HELP...
Sorry, but you're really difficult to understand.

Have you tried switching on the monitor?
I like the DHCP/DNS on your router answer. But first try these things and it will help you address the issue by what some of us network guys do, "Process of elimanation" when there are many answers.

Power down your modem, and let it sit for a minute. Plug your laptop or desktop directly into the modem. (This eliminates the wireless router for now) Plug your modem back in. Start your machine.
Then,
Have you tried to ping outside the Cable/ISP gateway? As in ping the web page your trying to connect to? Try a known working website such as google or yahoo.

That will narrow down the browser/web page issue if you can or can't.

If you can ping the website or alternate websites, try loading the web page or an alternate (just in case the web page your seeking is down) with a different browser. ie. if your using Internet explorer, try using Mozilla Firefox or vice versa.

Items to be checked out on your browser, Proxy settings if any selected. And the public side of your wireless router. Your internal is working because you can ping the internal gateway and share files. You can set up a static IP address for your public side of your router and have one of your machines on the same subnet to check this out.

I hope some of this helps. Good Luck.

If one works then your issue is with the web browser.
