How do I secure my wireless network with an airport using the network?
Question: When I put a WEP key on my wireless network the apple airport cannot use the network. I need this so I can use itunes to stream my music downstairs to the stereo. It's a normal pc based wireless LAN. Can someone give me a clue?
Answer:
Your WEP key needs to match that being broadcast from your access point/router. Once it's entered correctly on your apple, it should connect. Make sure you have the right WEP key set up in the airport settings.
