Is a home wireless network fast enough to stream dvd quality video from your computer to your TV?

Question: If so, which wireless router do you recommend and what wireless adapter can I use to connect my home entertainment system to the network?

Answer:
The current standard of 802.11g is barely capable of streaming video and the transmission would be low quality or garbled at best. Although devices on the market are available the best option is to use a MIMO or 802.11n device. These next generation wireless devices are in some cases faster than wired connections. This leaves legancy as the only factor and it should be be a factor as video is completely degraded by small amounts of legancy.
