How Do I get rid of a icon on my desk top tool bar pc?
Question: I was gonna download "Quicktime", but my pc didn't meet the requirements to download and now I can't get rid of the icon on my desk top on the tool bar. I wrote to "Apple" for technical support but they ignorned my request, and I went to add and remove programs but is not there either.
Answer:
start --- run
type msconfig hit enter
go to startup tab
uncheck qttask
then hit ok
Right click on the icon and hit close
Should not show up next time you reboot ;)
did you try right clicking the icon and selecting delete
Im not 100% sure but I think you can jut right click on it and choose remove from task bar

Your first thing would be to package the apple, return it .Purchase a Gateway with windows and an Intel pentium processer.
