EvoCam 3.6 for macOS 10.4, what doe sit do besides a regular camera in your bedroom Mac, is it secure? read on

Question: this was a soft ware down load from a supposedly friend, but i feel it does vdo streaming when switched on on to a network of other Evo Cams on line, is it true? that i can be seen by this monster who fed me this download, when i switch on the Evocam on my Mac?? pls fill me on?
