Does Yahoo actually provide support?
Question: I can't get help from their help desk. They tried to answer my question twice, but even though I told them the answer didn't fit (i.e. I didn't have the links they were directing me to), they just won't come through. When I tried again today, the guy said they had already answered my question. I wrote back that they had not answered it, and I wanted to be referred to a supervisor. He completely ignored my request and said my question had been answered. Where do I go now? Finding contact info. for Yahoo is pretty tough.

Hi I was having trouble with yahoo also & someone gave me these 2 numbers to try. honestly i didn't end up needing them but if you want to try them here they are:
1-866-492-4664 for free accounts
1-866-562-7219 for pay, or service accounts.

they have no good support,, but then again what do you expect for free. it is just a circle, you keep asking and they reply with the same nonsense, believe me I know,, i had a problem they erased my email box, and i was unable to recover any of the items, they refused or don't know how to anwer my question for help, it is a disappointment, but remember most of their site is free...
Maybe your internet browser (ie. Internet Explorer) is different than the one they are expecting you to be using. Try specifying your browser or update you web browser to the most current version and ask again.
Ask them to send you a link to whatever it is you're trying to access. That way you can mark it as a favorite and you won't have to follow a link trail.
Yahoo to busy selling advertising to help customer base. Will eventually show up as diminished customer base. Thereby reflecting reduced ad rates. Keep up the good work.
