I had an emotional outburst at work and might be fired, how do I keep my job?

Question: I work in a non-profit retail junk store. Being fustrated at the lack of help and lack of manager support. I broke a desk and now might be fired. I would like to keep this job.

Answer:
Yes, apologize right away and offer to pay for or repair the desk. But if you are prone to such outbursts best see someone or it will happen again and then they are likely to fire your as-s.
Apologize and tell the manager that you are seeking help with your stress.
How? By saying you're sorry. Be sincere, and don’t try to justify yourself. Sorry doesn’t come with excuses but true remorse.

Still, don’t be hard on yourself, people make mistakes. I wish you luck. Also remember that when one door closes another opens. :)
The bad news is that because of your destructiveness, you will probably be fired. If I was the boss, I would fire you. You have an uncontrollable rage that needs to be addressed. You are NOT a bad person, you are just exhibiting symptoms from something you carry inside of you. Maybe before you get fired, you can calmly tell your boss that you need to resign for personal reasons. No other explanations are necessary. I think that setting up an appointment with a psychiatrist right away would be an EXCELLANT way to go. There is loads of hope for you. Things eating away inside of us makes us so unhealthy, mentally and physically. Please do this...I think it will make you feel much better about yourself! Be totally honest. And if you ever feel this rage again, please call 911 and get to a hospital where you will be safe from doing anything to yourself, or others.
