What is like to work as a Technical Support Engineer?

Question: Hello! I work at the moment as a DBA and I've received an offer from Microsoft as an Technical Support Engineer for SQL Server... It's not "help desk" or call centre, 'cause I would offer support for technical people but... I don't really know what this job is actually like... I wonder if it's more challenging than the DBA job...

Answer:
Hi,

DBA is nice but you know what, i think Microsoft is good name and reputation for your Carrier, I think the new offer is cool in short you'll be doing HelpDesk or we call it HelpServer for other DBA guys doing your now job, you'll meet people who need your advice on nested queries or crashing system actually it is a challenging job and anyone would love to have Microsoft reference along with his/her CV.

My advice is don't just think... Say Yessssss.
