IPod Photo !?
Question: DO NOT;
-tell me to go to iPod Support
-tell my to recharge my iPod
-any other stupid bullshit answer.
Seriously, people, give me some credit here I'm not a total retard.
Now. My iPod Photo has been acting weird for a while. First, it began remaining charged for less and less time, indicating batterey trouble. But then, whenever I tried to play music it would emit their weird, hiccuping on-and-off squealing sound. I basically gave up on it and left it in my desk drawer for about 3 months. Today, I plaugged it into my computer to see what would happened and it just showed me the picture of a battery with a lightning bolt going through it (indicating that it needed to be recharged). So i plug in my iPod via the aC adapter and it turns on! But when I try to play music it emits the weird squealing sound and shuts off, bringing me to the iPod logo.
So what I want to know is;
1) Do these "symptoms" indicate battery or hard drive damage?
and
2) What is the least expensive way to fix this?
The hard drive is probly dead.
