How much do you all think this sewing machine(singer) can sell?

Question: I have an old sewing machine that my grandma gave me and it works fine and is from about 1927(according to the Singer website) this is the Serial# AB-477.688

Is like one of this machines with the desk: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/ch...

Singer website Serial: http://www.singerco.com/support/serial_2...

Answer:
The value of this machine is only known to you actually. What your willing to accept for it, also what another person is willing to pay. As a collector I can tell you this model 66 is not a rare machine. Like your link says there was 50,000 of them. I bet 40,000 of them are still around. They last forever. Remember back in those days every household had a sewing machine and probably most were Singers.
If the machine is in pristine condition I would say it might be worth 50 - 100.00. Average condition and it works, maybe 25 - 50.00. Sew Good Luck. Hey, keep it yourself and learn to sew. Its a great machine for canvas, light leather, upholstery, anything.
