Create Home network using BT Home Hub?

Question: I have around 5 laptops connected using wireless to the Home hub. I also have an XBOX 360 connected using ethernet cable.
The XBOX Live connection is working.
My problem is that XBOX is not able to find any computers on the network to stream data from, although i have installed Zune software on one of the laptops. Also, I am not able to establish communication between the other laptops.
PING also not working. I tried the WIRELESS NETWORK WIZARD but no success.
Wasted my entire day to figure it out. Please help.
Thanks in advance

Answer:
There is not enough space on this box to cover all the possible explanations. ARe you running XP or Vista?
Do you have a router? Is it wireless?
SEtting up a network is fairly simple but can get complex. Follow the Wireless Network wizard on Windows. I have a Win 98 and Win Me computer networked with an XP and I know it works. But you have to check a lot of things.
