Answer:
I had the Pearl and currently have the N75. It is a matter of preference. Feature wise, the N75 wins (3G, applications, etc.) However, if you are a heavy email user, go with the Pearl. You also have to look at the designs...one is a flip, while the other is a candybar style. The N75 is also allows a cheaper data plan than the Pearl.
I got rid of the Pearl because I did not like the SureType keyboard and the fact that it did not have 3G to use for tethering (if you are not in a 3G area, this does not apply to you).
I love the N75, except for the poor battery life. I will be buying the iPhone, but I am definately keeping my N75 as a solid backup. I have owned ALOT of phones, and the N75 is one of the best I have owned...
my brother has the NOKIA N75.. and its pretty cool but i think that the blackberry pearl would be a better phone to get for you. it has more features
Nokia doesn't provide good blackberry integration. I used to have one, and it wasn't completely compatible.
The perl is nice, and has an extended typing keyboard, so that texting and emailing is easier.
Depends on what you like in the end. It is really a personal decision. If you like a flip phone, or not, etc.
One thing I will say, the Symbian OS has plenty of free apps and games out on the internet (nokia) that you can use. I miss it alot, but I use mine for work, so the perl is best for me.
