Answer:
This most likely has nothing to do with your laptop. Streaming video means you do not have the whole video file and you are getting chunks of it at a time. Usually, you get enough chunks of the video data so that you can watch the video with out interruption while the rest downloads. But if you do not get enough of the video data, it will pause and wait for enough to continue playing. The problem is likely either with your ISP or the server you are getting the video from.

Run a speed test here: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/...
Just choose the location that is closest to you. After it is done it will give you the results. As long as your download speed is at least 1,000 kbps, your connection should be fine and it is there server's problem. If it is less than 1,000 you may want to contact your ISP and tell them you are experiencing slow internet speeds.
Your PC is fast enough. How fast (or slow) is your Internet connection? Also, sometimes the network just gets congested. Is it a problem streaming video from all sources? Could be that the origin server is having problems.
This is generally due to the internet. If this happens at one place mainly it could be due to the host server being overloaded. If it happens at multiple places then it is most likely your internet connection. Another variable would be that you are trying to stream videos that are too large. This can cause issues like you stated even with a good connection.
