Accessing Shared docs?
Question: I have a small wired network with a computer that i have 3 500 GB hdd's in. I want to make this computer a file server to my computers. However, even with all security things disabled, all other computers cant find this computer! I want to be able to read, write, and stream content from this PC, but my computers cant find anything else on the network! Help!

For a start all machines need to be in the same workgroup. Then you need to set sharing on each folder you want to offer to the network, do NOT share the system drive or any of the system folders. I suggest creating a folder for the shared content on each drive. Set the exception for file and printer sharing in the server firewall, do not turn it off. Unless you are running server software, if you have any Vista machines you need to go to tcp/ip properties on each, click advanced and then the wins tab. Set always use netbios over tcp/ip and turn off use lmhosts.
