How can I get streamed video from my pc to my tv (they are in different rooms)?

Question: The pc and tv are about 10 metres apart. I have a bt home hub wireless network running. Would be great if tv could be added to the network

You could simply run a long analog cable to the TV or you could get a cheap laptop and put VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) on it.
