To whom it may concern, my uncle needs a desk job that requires no college.?
Question: Two years ago my uncle was hopitalized for a diebetic coma. He was in for a year. Now hes out and nearly in good health. He cant walk around to much. He needs a good desk job to support himself and the massive bills hes racked up. Do you know of any jobs? He lives in chandler Arizona.
I would see a headhunter. You know a person who hunts for jobs for you.
He'll need good computer skills such as MS Office: Word, Excel, & possibly QuickBooks. Contact the local unemployment office, temp agencies, etc.
If he is a veteran he can get help by contacting his local Veterans Hospital. If he isn't he may be able to get help from Social Security or Human Services in your state. It is worth checking into.
Parking lot attendants with the control gate thingies do alot of sitting down.
Maybe desk security jobs.
Call center - answering telephones?
There must be dozens of sitting down type of jobs.
Look into companies that have Call centers. He can do Customer service or Collections (HUGE COMMISSIONS IN THAT)
He could be a receptionist, bank teller, secretary, or a sales representative.
Civil service (public sector) jobs, like the post office or DMV only require a HS diploma, and many are desk jobs. They pay pretty well and have excellent benefits.
