The wireless on my IBM Thinkpad T40 craps out whenever I download a file or stream a video?
Question: This started happening a few months ago and it doesnt matter which wireless network I am connected to. I have Windows XP SP2 installed. Why does my wireless keep crapping out and how do I fix it?
It sounds like it is not a problem with the wireless networks but a problem with your computer itself, try using your rescue disk

what network protocall are you using?
b is not fast enough for reliable video streaming and g would struggle with dvd quality mpegs
