How can I stream music and video from my PC to my television/sound system?

Question: Any tutorials/links would be great! I have a wireless home network setup (Although, wireless is not necessary, I can wire a network) and my PC is running Windows Media Center Edition. I have heard this can be achieved via an XBox, but I am not sure. If possible, I would like a much cheaper solution than buying and XBox to stream my music and video. Any help would be great.

Answer:
get a mac, they have a wireless system that works
Check your PC's graphic card. You know - where you plug the monitor into. If it has AV jacks or an S-Video adapter you should be good to go.
You can't stream good quality video, because the speed of internet is still too slow and the TV is too big to accomodate the poor qualtiy video. :/

Just get one of those connectors (DVI OR ANALOG I believe) to connect to the TV.
For sound: all you have to do is connect the audio output from your PC the one which you connect your speakers to, to the Audio system. You will need the right cable for it. The cable will look something like this. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;...
Its called a Y-adapter cable.
For you video you need to check your video card manual to see if it supports S-Video Out. Most good 3D- video cards do. you will need cables for those too.. This link shows some cables which you will need for it.
