Is there any support out there? Can Cal OSHA do anything? I'm curious regarding the legalities of this...

Question: I work in a specialized professional field which requires training to perform the job duties (but no certification or anything like that.) I sit at a desk for the majority of my day handling clients by phone and email and their liquor licenses. Since I have been on the job (almost 6 months) I have seen 19 of 23 employees quit the office and my license load has gone up from managing 333 license to managing over 500!
Now I am also responsible for training all the new employees and my personal assistant (as well as the new employees' assistants.) WHILE I MANAGE MY LICENSE LOAD!
Plus, people are leaving the job because my boss is a total demon.
I am highly marketable in terms of my education and skill, but I'm in a terrible position. I would leave this job for any other position if I could, but (even though legally I can't be discriminated against...) I am nearly 6 months pregnant (and showing) and don't believe anyone else will hire me. What can I do? I'm being taken advantage of.

Answer:
Well, this doesn't fall under CAL-OSHA, surprisingly, because they seem to control every other aspect of a workplace.

Remind your boss that you are 6 months pregnant and will be scaling back your work load prior to going out on disability for the birth.

After recovering, spend your post-partum leave to look for a new job.
Tell your boss to redelegate some of the work load, just talk to him/her the way you explained it to us. If you don't get a credible response from the boss go up another notch in management. but be professional about it . If that doesn't work get with your HR department and start wielding your feminine status around. Make it known at this point to HR that you are considering charges but do talk to a law attorney first.
