Have you looked into the MySimpleCard membership?
Sounds like you could use many of the included benefits.
It could be purchased as a supplemental benefit to your
other health insurance, especially if you have a higher
deductible. Also, it could be a standalone plan too.
Be sure to look into their home delivery
program for the prescription drugs, also vision program,
and of course the doctors visits benefit.
I agree, the system is wrong for the handicapped people who live in this country. Have you looked into AFLAC? Or have you checked with your Dr.'s Office or Hospital to see if they have a charity insurance program? I know that the hospital where I live does, and if you can't afford to go to the regular doctor's office, you can go to the walk in clinic because they are attached to the hospital, so you can get the charity assistance. Maybe your area has something like that.
I feel for you. I am also disabled. I am 56 years old and SSI keep[s turning me down. I will try again next month.
It is an insult that we are to live on such a small amount of money. Everyone I know earns extra money on the side.

The poor get poorer and the rich get all they want when they want it.
Maybe you need an attorney that specializes in getthing the medicare sooner.
