What kind of health insurance should i get?

Question:
I just finished college and work at a job that does not pay for my medical or dental insurance. I am perfectly healthy right now, but you never know what can happen, so I want insurance. I am looking for a new job that offers better benefits, but in the mean time I don't want to take the risk. There are soo many places to get insurance I just want to know what would be a good place to get a cheap 6 month plan. I don't just want just hospitalization covered and I would also like it to include dental. Where should I go and what kind of costs should I expect?

Answer:
You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?ref...

Casey
A qualified insurance agent can help you. Contact a couple and proceed from there.
Don't take insurance with any kind of waiver. you will be in for the hassle of your life.
I'm posting a link so you can get a quote through Assurant Health for a short-term policy. They'll even issue it online and deliver it via email to you, if you prefer.

Assurant is an A rated carrier (in AM Best rankings) and is available in most (not all) states.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
Maybe you can try below website to get the information. It's about where to find cheap health insurance articles for your second opinion
I got mine through e-insurancec.om. You put your info into the system and then they list out quotes from a bunch of different companies. You can also find out the insurance companies ratings too, to make sure you don't pick a bum company. I'm 30, so older than you and I pay $190 a month, but yours will be cheaper because of age.
Go to www.mcclerkinins.com. They quote from almost every company. But only in California. You can buy a policy online if you want to. Any policy will work for you. You are young and probably dont require extensive underwriting. Just look for a good rate and low (possibly 0) out-of-pocket expense. Nationwide Health Plans is the best in California. Check it out! Hope this helps.
Theres some good information on health insurance, getting good deals and general info etc here http://geobay.com/c21307 hope it helps.
my son got out of the marines, signed up with assurant health to begin his job hunt. when he found what he wanted.. they wanted to know prior health insurance coverage.

As usual he went overboard..

From birth till 23 parents, bcbs, then USMC for 8 years, I guess that would be your taxes, now I'm with Assurant health.

They hired him.
