Info on veteran admin. health care for active/nonactiv duty vets.?

Question:
Need to find infor on veteran'shealth care and if there is available the option of going to the private sector for health care and still be covered by the VA.

Answer:
Active duty troops don't use the VA health care system.

The VA is no longer accepting non-service related patients.

If it is service related, just contact your local VA represenatative.
pvt wont be covered
use phone book or google.long wiats there ive heard good luck
How long have you been out of active duty? I know that the first 6 months after getting out you sign up for tricare select...in which you get to pick a doctor out of a list of local places. After that, your only option is to go to a VA clinic...from there they can refer you elsewhere.
