What is a good affordable maternity health insurance in Kansas?

Question: My husband just switched jobs and the health ins. provider is too expensive for us to carry. I plan on getting my children on healthwave but I need something for myself. I'm not currently pregnant but am wanting to start trying. I figure I should check into ins. before I make that commitment.

Try checking out Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas. I had that for awhile when my job didn't offer decent insurance. I got basic coverage for around $120/month. I wasn't pregnant at the time though. If I remember right, it may have gone up a few hundred dollars. I know now that BCBS has new plans. Contact them or go online to check out their options.. Most doctors in the state honor BCBS and they're a reliable company. They'll also cover your preventative screenings such as your pap. Good luck.
