Can a health care professional help me with this one?

Question:
Hi, I had a pelvic and breast exam Thursday and, I was slightly turned on while my health care professional who is a woman, was giving it to me. Could this have happened because I have been without my husband for years? She does not come across as being attracted to women and, I am not a lesbian. I just want to know if this is considered normal. I do have great communication with her and, she has a great bedside manner.

Answer:
There is more to attraction than just physical looks. Your relationship with her seems caring, and you seem to communicate well. Many people report feeling "attracted" to their physician because of the care and attention they are given. The pelvic and breast exam is a very personal experience from both the doctor and patient point of view.

I think what you are experiencing is completely normal.
