Answer:
what can justify, other than pure greed, the suffering of sick and hopeless people?why can we spend billions in Iraq and around the world to support?and "help" other worthless 2 bit dictators and brainwashed idiots who are too narrow minded to help themselves?when that money[taxes] can be and should be used to make everyday life better and make the quality of life better when we have the technology and availability but not the moral correctness to do what is right? are you listening Presidential candidates?? or is it business as usual?
46 million Americans without healthcare insurance is a national shame.
I know plenty of people without health insurance, and the debts are staggering. At least in Europe, it's something its citizens don't have to worry about.
It's just another day in the richest nation on Earth.
I was hurt at work and now I have no job & no insurance. I didn't ask for this it's a reality I live with!
N O!!!!!!!!!!!...
I do know of many people who work hard and can not get health insurance. Not all jobs offer it.
When my husband was out of work,he went to work for a car service(even though he wasn't crazy about it). He worked 12 hours a day (eventually getting coverage).. I love my husband. He's a tough sob, that get's going.
They are without health care because of ambulance chasing trial lawyers like Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards who has made millions off of suing hosiptals and insurance companies. These costs are then passed on to the consumers and businesses.
So you want socialized medicine? Heard of Walter Reed? Best example of socialized medicine in action!

Go back and look. He pays $1800 a month for medical insurance. For his healthy family. Sorry, make that $1918.
Some of us choose to save that $1800 per month. It's called being self-employed. And not depending on the government for a bail-out.
This is a complex issue for Americans. Do not blame it on Republicans.
EDIT: Thanks for the hate mail. I'll share my reply with everyone: I am self-employed, and a single mom. I have a child with epilepsy. And $30k in medical bills. Not wanting a government fix. Thanks.
I know hundreds of working people, and every single one of them has health insurance.
Many young Yuppies make enough money that they don't care about health insurance.
The others are on welfare and we pay for their health care, anyway.
Communists are using the health care issue as an excuse for socialized medicine, a complete and udder failure.
(Philip L , above has the perfect answer.)
Good work!!!
We are the only free world country} that does not provide free health insurance I do know that, So, what does that say about our government but hey the fat dogs on the hill of DC have great insurance but veto ours,
Look in the Constitution, there is no "right to healthcare"
Are you claiming to know something the Founders didn't?
We've gotten along just fine since 1776 without it, no need to create it now.
yes I know people in that situation
That's correct. Many of these people are without healthcare insurance by choice. They would rather have expensive cars, cell phones, computers with high speed internet and big screen TV's. And I know some of them. Their priorities are what is self-centered, NOT the fact that a "right winger" has called them on it.
