POLL - Do you have Health care coverage? If you are one of the "lucky" Americans that do, is it adequate?
Question:
In his new film "SiCKO",Michael Moore takes on the U.S. health care system as he turns his attention to questions like:
WHY _
"The al Qaeda detainees (people that helped participate in the attacks of 9/11) are receiving better health care, from us than those who went down to rescue those who suffered and died on 9/11?"
WHY while those that are insured are often driven to poverty by spiraling costs or wrongly refused treatment at all.

Answer:
Yes, I have Health Insurance.
I have a Family plan that cost $54 a week pre-tax, $1000 dollar deductable and 20/80 the next $5000, I have $10 co-pays for regular doctor visits and $10 (generic), $15 (gen 2), $25 (name brand) perscriptions. A single plan at my corp. is exactly the same but $19 a week. This also includes a nice vision and dental plan.
Am I the only one with decent Health coverage?
I know that $2800+ a year seems high, but I pay around that for car insurance. I don't really use either, but if something happens in either case it would be benificial to have such coverage.
No!
I get it through work. The medical is adequate but the cost increases by more than 10% every year. The dental coverage, as with most dental plans, sucks.
I, also get it through work. Expensive, hardly covers anything. Could be so much better but better than none at all.
