Is there any health care in England that is like a free clinic for the poor? Or are they ALL free.?

Question:
I was wondering, because we have free and low cost clinics in the states, used by those without insurance. But I gather in England, with socialized medicine, no one needs insurance or pays for health care?

Answer:
We have the NHS (National Health Service) which provides the majority of healthcare in the UK, from general practitioners to hospitals, long-term healthcare, dentistry and opthalmology.

NHS services are largely "free at the point of delivery", paid for by taxes. Private health care has continued parallel to the NHS, paid for largely by private insurance, but it is used only by a small percentage of the population, and generally as a top-up to NHS services.
