I am wondering if anyone had taken the morning after pill (plan b)?
Question:
Answer:
Yes, Plan B is safe! I have taken it, and I had that same question beforehand. I talked to a womens' health care provider and it perfectly safe. It won't even hurt the baby if a woman is already pregnant. There are possible side effects from it, but they don't last long and aren't serious. These include nausea, stomach aches, etc. Plan B is just a high dose of birth control. So you shouldn't have any serious complications from it. Even though it is safe, it isn't something you want to have to use regularly, it is for emergency's only.
I have taken it twice and didn't have any problems either time
I took it once and did not have any health issues from it, to my knowledge. However, I want to warn you that it is the 72 hour pill. If you take the pill after 72 hours it will not prevent a pregnancy.
It is safe but doesn't always work. Many girls still get pregnant after taking Plan B. Get on Birth Control as soon as you can. If you are getting Plan B from Planned Parenthood talk to them about Birth Control they can start you on it..
I would not trust my life to a plan b.
