Pleeeeease help!!
Answer:
Hey, seeing results should be enough to motivate you. Why not start a blog about your weight loss journey? Its doesn't have to be public you can make it private. Take pictures if you want. And every evening / lunch time blog away, about what you have had to eat for that day etc. I would advise you to start an exercising regime. Running will give you results, so a 30 min jog every morning might seem like a lot but once you start it will be easy. Or every evening or even go to the gym 2 - 3 time a week to start with. Eating well or skipping meals is not enough. In fact, if your body feels starved it will hold on to the weight at some point. I would say
1 - set up a "diet" of some sort, this doesn't mean you should starve yourself or eat horrible food. Try to eat healthy things and at lunch, instead of starving yourself, take a homemade salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, chicken) - you can make different salads depending on what you want to eat, have an apple or something too + water. Have breakfast, my personal fav. is bran flakes, and I usually have a fruit after and some water or pure fruit juice. Don't snack on junk food - try fruits, grapes, carrot sticks, drink a lot of water. Have a well balanced evening meal, and don't eat late into the night.
I would reduce dairy, carbs and cut out fizzy drinks, takeaways, cakes, chocolate, careful with the tea/coffee its amazing how much sugar you can take in in one day.
2 - Exercise, you may not see results straight away, but long term, running will give results, even on a treadmill. It also keeps you fit.
3 - Carry on eating well. Don't starve, just eat healthy food and remember too much of anything is not good.
Good Luck
Eat carbs! As long as you exercise they are the best thing as they are the first kind of calories that are burned. If you want to have lunch, do it. If you eat more than usual, then all you have to do is exercise more than usual. It's your life, and if you let your diet tell you otherwise you're going to end up down the wrong path. I dont think you should be rewarding yourself with food (as it should be for nourishment, not pleasure), however, but do NOT skip meals. It slows down your metabolism so that when you're finally off the diet, you'll blow up like a blimp. I know its hard to believe, because it is SO hard to lose weight... I know. Try eating many small meals made of healthy ingredients (pack them in your bag!). It's an energy booster too so you'll look and feel great!
I cant believe you don't eat lunch no wonder you are having cravings!!
I lost heaps of weight & all i did was change my eating habbits & started exercising, i just ate healthy breakfast, healthy lunch & a small healthy dinner.
Eat small heathly snacks in between meals too like yoghurt & fruit.
I also walked for 1 hour 5 days a week, i lost heaps of weight i wish i had done it earlier! You need to be motivated to keep going otherwise it wont work! Dont reward yourself with food reward yourself with shoes or haircuts ect... Good luck, Eat Lunch its an important meal!!
Skipping lunch is actually unwise. By feeding yourself less frequently, you're informing your body that food is scarce, and it will want to store as much "back-up fuel" (fat) as possible. You may see quick short term results, but in the long term, all you're doing is damaging your metabalism.
Also, don't ignore cravings. If your body tells you your hungry, feed it, and feed it what it wants. If your body says give me carbs, give it carbs, just choose those carbs wisely. Pick a complex carbohydrate, they take longer to digest, so you feel full longer, and they give you a steady, even stream of energy. Remember, your body NEEDS carbohydrates to run. You're muscles can use fat and protein to convert into energy, but use carbohydrates MUCH more efficiently. If you want to lose weight, the best thing you can do is eat small frequent meals (which boosts your metabolism) and pay good attention to what it is your eating. Choose whole grains and fresh fruits and veggies over sugary or greasy junk foods. Don't deny your body of a dietary nescessity because of a fad diet (and yes, atkins IS a fad diet), eat frequently and practice portion control. (if you're trying to lose weight at a healthy rate you want to lose it SLOWLY) A good guidline to stick to is three four hundred calorie meals and two to three 100 calorie snack in a day. And don't forget to get those 40 grams of protein.

It is very tempting to reward yourself for a job well done but it is not the way to go with food when your body is concerned.
Unhealthy food is NOT a reward and never should be considered as such. It is important that you learn to consider health as the reward for your toil.If taste is the issue than you must stick to healthy food that tastes good, there's plenty of it.
Healthy living is not a shorterm plan;it is a lifestyle;this is not just a sloagan. One more thing:The "self administered diet" is not a good idea.Seek the aid of a professional dietician who can help you to put together a complete plan that will maximize exactly how many calories that you can take in and how many you should drop week to week.
