What's the difference between a medical director and a pharmacy director?

Question:
Where do they work (hospitals/health plans)? What's a generalized summary of what they do?

Answer:
A Medical Director is a physician at a hospital/ surgery center and is basically the chief of staff over the entire facility or a department. He will recommend policies regarding treatment plans, forms, etc.

A Pharmacy director is just over the pharmacy. His job is to oversee the pharmacy department at a hospital or a retail pharmacy. They will oversee the staff and make sure they are complying with all state and federal guidelines.
A medical Director is a physician who is over the physicians in a hospital, medical group or hospital division

A Pharmacy Director is normally a pharmacist and they are just over the pharmacy
